What is a zine?
A zine, or fanzine, is a term used to describe unofficial fan-made publications. Zines are made out of the interests and passions of fans with artists and content creators alike!What is the theme of this zine?
We aim to produce a zine that generally focuses on Baal/Raiden Ei. This is a general zine that showcases different illustrations of her image.Will this zine be for-profit or for-charity?
This zine project will be for profit. Once we meet production costs and cover complementary bundles, any remaining proceeds will be split evenly among all contributors after we hold leftover sales.Will the zine be physical or digital?
The format of the zine will be determined by the responses to our interest check! Ideally, we would like to proceed with a physical zine and some merch (both digital and physical).What are the zine’s specs?
The zine will be in B5 size and perfect-bound, with ≅44 pages. All content in this project will be SFW (PG-13) with the exception of a potential NSFW (R-18) 3D mousepad merch.Will the zine feature ships or other characters?
Since this zine focuses on Baal, all illustrations and merch must feature her. Other characters are welcome to interact in the background. Ships are NOT allowed to be portrayed in this zine.How will contributors be compensated?
Contributors are guaranteed to receive a PDF copy of the zine. Complimentary zines or full merch bundles will depend entirely on our sales. In the event we cannot cover complimentary copies, contributors will have the option to purchase their bundle at production cost.How many contributors are you accepting?
We will be accepting around 40 contributors with 1 cover artist, 33 page artists, and 6 merch artists.Can anyone apply?
Yes, however, applicants must be 18 years or over.We have a no-tolerance policy. Any applicants/contributors caught or reported to do any of the behaviours listed below will result in disqualification of the application or immediate removal from the project.Behaviours that are not tolerable:
— Harassment and/or bullying.
— Bigotry (ie. racism, sexism, homo/transphobia, ableism, etc.)
— Endorse or condone abuse, incest, and pedophilia.We do not judge or grade contributors based on their shipping preferences.Will you accept traditional artworks?
Yes! We accept traditional artworks. Please make sure to provide a clean scan with a minimum resolution of 300dpi. This is also a requirement for your portfolio when applying for the contributor role.May I draw Baal in a different outfit?
Yes, but please make sure Baal is still recognizable! We also ask that your illustration is within the canon universe of Genshin Impact.If you illustrate alternate outfits, they must fit within Teyvat’s setting (ie. Baal in either a Liyue, Mondstadt, or a different Inazuman outfit).Are spoilers allowed?
Spoilers are whole-heartedly welcome! However, this is a warning to our contributors who have not played both the “Chapter II: Omnipresence Over Mortals, Act III: Omnipresence Over Mortals” Archon Quest and “Imperatrix Umbrosa” Chapter.
